Donations for 2019

In 2013, the Foundation entered into an agreement with the Thunder Bay Community Foundation.  Please click here for further information.  2014 was the first year that the Thunder Bay Community Foundation provided the Keri Chase Memorial Animal Welfare Fund grant.

The 2019 presentations were made on December 04, 2019 at the annual grants presentation reception hosted by Copperfin Credit Union and held at the Roots to Harvest Centre.  The following grants totaling $9,737.66 were awarded:

A $4,737.66 grant was presented to Caring Hearts Cat Rescue Sanctuary to offset various veterinary costs to spay/neuter cats/kittens.

bullet

A $5,000.00 grant was presented to St. John Ambulance Thunder Bay and Northwesters Ontario (Dog Therapy Project) towards funding the therapy dogs to enrich the lives of the elderly, ill and children by providing unconditional love and support.
